The figure of the American Cowboy now has a national holiday in the United States.
The American cowboy image has been immortalised by many western movie which are still popular. Is that the cowboys are part of American tradition, history and folklore.
But the cowboys are not a mythical figure of the past, unlike today play a key role in livestock in the region of Virginia and other American states. Yes! Men who ride horses, whip in hand. Although its economy is threatened by changes in the cattle industry, it is not difficult.
The Cowboys of today are still caring for the cattle as a few hundred years and have enormous respect for the environment that supports their lifestyle.
