Getting around New York at night
Walking around New York was not usually very safe, but now is different. The fact that the city is level and slow moving traffic, means that a popular mode of transportation is on foot.
That said, a trip on one of the infamous yellow cabs that promises to be an experience in itself. With regard to public transport, both buses and the subway is 24 hours and offer a taste of what life is like for the average New Yorker.
