If you look at Internet images of Hawaii, for example, immediately see the screen filled with pictures of a lovely waterfall. Is a flow of water gushing and falls into a pond doing a lot of foam in the middle of a forest of strong green. All photos are beautiful.
The waterfall is called Rainbow and is in Hilo, the county of Hawaii, a site located near active volcanoes on the bay of the same name. The waterfall is 24 meters tall and nearly 30 meters in diameter. The waters belong to the Wailuku River and fall into a pond which at times is green and reflects the colours of the jungle around and at times is more turquoise.
The waterfall is within the Wailuku River State Park and is a platform from which you have a pretty good view. In the Hawaiian language is known as rainbow water and then derived the English name as well. The waterfall flowing over a natural cave formed by lava from some ancient eruption and local people have always believed that this cave is the home of Hina, an ancient Hawaiian goddess.
