Salvador Bahia and the Brazilian carnival splendor
This carnival is known for being one of the largest in the world and a major tourist attractive of Brazil. His story refers to a celebration that comes from people as previous festival Ash Wednesday (the day that Catholics think of fasting and abstinence, where a mass is performed by placing the ashes to the faithful who attend).
Bahia Salvador Carnival is a potpourri of joy, fun and theatrical spectacle, where intersect art and folklore. Usually held during the month of February each year and every year starts 6 days before Ash Wednesday quoted.
