Cruise the Norwegian Fjords

Cruise the Norwegian Fjords

I left the hostel after a few hours to rest comfortably and went back to the port of Stavanger. I could hardly see anything of the city, I arrived at night and went from there the next morning on a cruise through the fjords of Norway have time only for some coffee and a couple of cakes that were in the bouffant.

Upon arrival at the port stood before me an imposing white floating building, could add without exaggeration immaculate one iota. It was the “Costa Favolosa.”

I always travel light luggage, and this was a six-day trip, so my bag was of medium size.

The “Costa Favolosa” is a luxury floating city where one can do almost anything you want (provided you have enough money, of course). A sailor walked me to my cabin, which was located facing the interior of the ship (it was cheaper) and then to arrange my belongings I prepared to travel from bow to stern.

The loud whistle announced the departure and almost in slow motion the ship entered the North Sea, getting smaller incredibly to the majestic cliffs and the ocean.

Honestly, there were six days in paradise and I just drew a landscape of wonder in an even more beautiful than that. The weather at times strong, to be appeased when we were getting inside through the passages and corners of the fjords. The feeling that pervaded us as we sailed by those huge channels of crystal blue water was indescribable.

From Stavanger sail to Kiel, from there to Aarhus, Hellessylt, Bergen and back to the end of the sixth day to Stavanger again.

That night, full of nostalgia about leaving the sea I walked to the Railway Terminal and got a ticket to travel an hour later to Oslo, where they come at dawn to visit a family of friends waiting for me.
