Free Museums in Madrid Metro
Take the subway in Madrid and get free entrance to museums. The city government of Madrid has launched a campaign to promote the use of meter, and it draws the viewer into the culture.
During the month of May just showing the commuter ticket may be free admission to seven museums in the city.
Each sample in Madrid have specific days to visit various exhibitions:
- May Bridge: Cosmocaixa
- 7 and May 8: National Museum of Science and Technology
- 15 May 16: National Museum of Anthropology
- 22 and 23 May: Geominero
- 28 and May 29: Railway Museum
Besides every Friday you can visit the National Museum of Natural Sciences and every Monday, the Botanical Gardens.
Also, if you are interested in science, you can present your ticket to Cosmocaixa, proving that you have visited 5 museums and giving 5 answers. The first 200 at present (before June 6) will get a pass to visit Cosmocaixa planetary throughout the year. As a bonus, those who answer correctly will participate in a drawing for 10 packages of scientific books.
